Why do I need to log in my child?

Generally you shouldn't need to. Magic School attempts to write information to your computer to allow your child to easily enter Magic School without having to type a user-id and password. This information is called a cookie. If you are having to log in your child with your email address and password there may be several explanations.

1. Your computer settings have prohibited the cookie from being written.
2. You have not used Magic School on this particular computer before.
3. You have previously clicked the "clear automatic log in" on this computer.
4. The cookie may have a time limit and need to be rewritten.
